India-Sri Lanka make mirror images.

Match was ended with no result but a world record.
For the first time inODIs both teams
scored the samenumber of runs, lostsame number ofwickets and facedsame number of overs.

    • The first tied match in
    which both teams played
    the same number of
    overs (50) and lost the
    same number of wickets
    (9) apart from scoring the
    same number of runs
    (236). both teams also hit
    same number of fours
    (15) and sixes (two).
    • The match provided the
    26th instance of a tie in
    ODIs – the 6th for India,
    4th for Sri Lanka and the
    1st between these two
    teams.
    • Mahela Jayawardene was
    playing his 100th match as
    captain.
    • MS Dhoni was playing
    his 200th ODI.
    • TM Dilshan became the
    7th Sri Lankan batsman to
    complete 6,000 runs in
    ODIs.

    against India.
    • Virat Kohli,, completed
    3,000 runs in ODIs. He
    became the 17th Indian
    batsman to do so.
    • Dinesh Chandimal (81)
    scored his third
    consecutive 50-plus score
    against India
    • This match was the
    106th international match
    for Sachin Tendulkar
    against Sri Lanka (25 Tests
    + 81 ODIs). Tendulkar
    now holds the record for
    playing the most
    international matches
    against a particular
    country.
